Overview

Developed in the final year of the Audiovisual and Multimedia degree at the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social of Lisbon, this project aimed to create communication pieces for SOS Bicharada, a non-profit portuguese association that has been saving animal lives for over 20 years.

Project Objective

To promote the sponsorship of animals, a need expressed by the Association’s management.

Project Concept

The final design motivates and engages potential sponsors, highlighting the importance and positive impact of their contributions. The communication is clear, accessible, and inspiring, promoting sponsorship in a practical and meaningful way.

Design Process

  1. Persona Development: Created a profile based on research about animal sponsors and interactions with the Association’s volunteers.
  2. Project Concept:
    • Heroes of Society: Values the “heroes” who sponsor animals.
    • Recognition: Suggests sponsorship as an alternative for those who want to help but face barriers like lack of time to visit the shelter.

Video

The video was produced by a team of 6 people. I was involved throughout the entire process, primarily as the producer, handling client communication, research, interviews, voice-over creation, and video editing. The names of the colleagues involved in the project are shown at the end of the video.
