During my final year at university, our school partnered with the City Hall of Cascais, Portugal, to produce Instagram posts aimed at preventing and combating ageism for the Vida Cascais project. This was my proposal.
The strategy was to create an illustration with a youthful aesthetic that evokes activism. Despite tattoos often being associated with youth, the post seeks to demystify this notion, emphasizing that there is no age limit for art. The illustration would address a topic frequently linked to young people, capturing the attention of our target persona. Users would be encouraged to interact and join the movement against ageist behavior using the hashtag #EuNãoSouIdadista.
For the persona development, simulated data and responses were used based on the questionnaire proposed by the client, as well as research on the theme and the target audience specified by the client.
Tattoos as an Art Form: The illustration aims to deconstruct the myth that tattoos are only for young people, promoting them as a universal form of self-expression.
This project not only addresses a significant social issue but also leverages the power of social media to create a positive and inclusive movement among young people.
